KATHUA, FEBRUARY 09: Deputy Commissioner Kathua Rajesh Sharma today chaired a meeting at the DC Office Complex to review the implementation of the eDAR/iRAD system and to resolve bottlenecks hampering its effective functioning.
The DC was informed that delays in updating accident data are affecting timely processing of cashless treatment cases. He directed the concerned departments to ensure prompt and regular data entry.
He took serious note of non-uploading of photographs, missing driving licence details and improper capture of accident locations, stressing that accurate information is vital for action against defaulters and identification of black spots.
The Deputy Commissioner also flagged mismatch of figures between the iRAD and CCTNS portals and instructed officers to improve coordination and ensure proper synchronisation with the eDAR platform so that compensation to victims’ next of kin is not delayed.
He asked all stakeholders to remove deficiencies immediately and adhere strictly to timelines.
The meeting was attended by ASP Kathua Rahul Charak, RTO Surinder Sharma, ARTO, 2 IC 69 RCC BRO, District Rollout Manager NIC Kathua and other concerned officers.
