JAMMU, JANUARY 20: Government Degree College Paloura today hosted an awareness event to sensitise students to the Animal Birth Control (ABC) Programme.
Assistant Professor (Veterinary Technology), Dr Sikander Shabab Khan was the resource person. He delivered an engaging and informative session highlighting the diseases transmitted through stray dogs and preventive measures. He also informed the participants about the legal provisions of animal protection. The interactive nature of the session allowed students to clarify their queries and gain valuable insights about animal life.
The College Principal, Dr Savi Behl encouraged students to spread awareness regarding the management of stray dogs in their immediate surroundings.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr Rabia Mir.
