EPFO Regional Office, Jammu received Bhavishya Nidhi Award for “Best Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 Campaign”.

• EPFO Jammu being the most challenging Office had to handled service delivery of J & K and Ladakh from Regional Office Jammu

1. EPFO Regional Office, Jammu has received a Bhavishya Nidhi Award-2023 in the category of “Best Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 Campaign” at a function held in New Delhi by EPFO Head Office. The award was presented to Shri Rizwan Uddin, Regional P F Commissioner – I, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh by Shri Rameshwar Teli, Hon’ble Minister of State, Labour and Employment, Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India. Earlier the program was inaugurated and addressed by Shri Bhupender Yadav, Hon’ble Minister of Labour and Employment, Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India, through video conference at a grand function held at Bharat Mandapam Pragati Maidan, New Delhi as part of celebration of 71st Foundation Day of EPFO.

2. In the Bhavishya Nidhi Award function, Shri Rizwan Uddin accompanied by Shri Sanjeev Kumar, SSSA, RO Jammu received the award presented by Shri Rameshwar Teli, Hon’ble Minister of State, Labour and Employment, Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, in the presence of Ms. Arti Ahuja, Secretary (Labour and Employment), Ms. Neelam Shami Rao, Central Provident Fund Commissioner (EPFO), Shri Rajendra Kumar, Director General (ESIC) and Shri S. K. Agarwal, ACC (HQ) EPFO. The award witnessed participation from the EPFO Offices of all over India and awards were presented to Offices in various categories for their outstanding performance in the respective categories.

3. Regional Office, Jammu has been awarded for its impressive all-round performance for conducting of Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 (NAN 2.0) program which made a positive impact on parameters such as increase in awareness among its stakeholders, increase in membership, providing handholding sessions, efforts made in the field of pension, e-nomination among others.

4. The NAN 2.0 program witnessed enthusiastic participation from stakeholders at all the venues and some of the distinguished one include programs at DC Office Udhampur, DC Office Kathua, DC Office Ramban, DC Office Samba; DC Office Kishtwar, DC Office Kupwara, DC Office Baramulla, DC Office Doda, NHPC Office Kishtwar and among others.

5. Shri Rizwan Uddin expressed his gratitude to all the stakeholders including members, employers, higher authorities of district and UT administration especially Divisional Commissioners of Jammu and Kashmir Division, staff and officers of the office and higher officers of the Zonal Office, and Head Office and said that the office was able to accomplish this feat only with their support. On the occasion he said that the office has been taking various initiatives to increase the coverage, compliance and awareness among stakeholders such as conduct of regular awareness and outreach programmes through seminars and webinars, while at the same timebeing accessible to stakeholders through emails, telephone,and social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Koo etc.

6. EPFO Jammu being the most challenging Office had to handle service delivery of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh from EPFO, Regional Office Jammu, Railway Road only. An innovative measures taken at RO Jammu providing option to employees to attend Office in Flexi-time to capitalise on the Office system and infra which helped in increasing efficiency and effectiveness of its service delivery. These Officials Shri Sanjeev Kumar SSSA, Shri Chiranji Lal Sharma SS, Shri Subhash Chandra SSSA, Shri Arun Kumar SSSA, Shri Sachin Bhardwaj SSSA, Shri Ravi Kumar, SSSA worked in flexi hours which helps making Nidhi Apke Nikat Programme 2.0 successful.

7. On this occasion Regional Office, Jammu reaffirms its commitment to provide services to all its stakeholders in an efficient, effective, and transparent manner and expects continued support of all the stakeholders of the UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh towards its march to greater heights.

8. Team members of EPFO RO Jammu who made their contributions towards facilitating and co-ordinating the programmes under the leadership of Shri Rizwan Uddin, RPFC – I includes: Shri Raja Sekhar Dasari, SSSA Shri Pritpal Singh ASO, Shri Pranav Gupta ASO, Shri Mukesh Kumar SS, Shri Rajan Kumar, SSSA.

9. Series of Outreach Programmes were organised in every Border District of J&K and Ladakh. P F Commissioner, Rizwan Uddin had been visiting all far-flung Districts including Kargil and Leh.

10. Smt. Anuradha Gupta, DC Samba, Shri Sachin Kumar Vaishya, DC Udhampur, Shri Mussarat Islam, DC, Ramban, Dr. Devansh Yadav (IAS), Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Owais Ahmad, DC Bandipora, Shri O. P. Chandail, Principal, Green Model Higher Secondary School Doda were prominently present and addressed their views and ideas and thanked the P F Commissioner, Rizwan Uddin in taking out his precious time to visit these district and help the employees as well as employers in Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 programme.

11. Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 programme were also organised with the support of District Administration of District Poonch, Shopian, Kupwara, Baramulla, Budgam, Anantnag, Kishtwar, Kargil and Leh and facilitated such discussions locally.

12. The District Nodal Officer Shri Sanjeev Kumar, EO/AO, Shri Amit Jakhmola, EO/AO, Shri Bipin Kumar, EO/AO, Shri Jagpreet Singh Cheema, EO/AO, Shri Pramod Kumar Singh, EO/AO, Shri Suhail Khan, EO/AO Shri Ankur Janghu EO/AO and Shri Pawan Kumar, EO/AO attended the Outreach Programmes at respective Districts.

13. EPFO Jammu has small team comprising of outsourced employees Miss Archana, Miss Pallavi, Miss Preeti, Mr Abhishek, Mr Asif Maqbool and Mr. Tanveer who work consistently and communicate with Establishments to remit contributions regularly.
