According to sources, sensation spread in Tattapani area, which falls under Kalakot police station in district Rajori, on Monday morning when security forces through a drone spotted three gun-running suspects roaming the area. Police, army and CRPF personnel became alert on receiving the information. Security teams rushed to the scene. The area was cordoned off.
The road from Khargala to Tattapani in Kalakot was closed. Traffic traffic on that road is currently suspended. People in the surrounding area have been advised to stay indoors. An enhanced search operation was conducted covering the entire area. Firing then started from both sides. The operation is still ongoing.
