J&K Hit By Strong 5.4-Magnitude Earthquake, Tremors Felt In Delhi

Jammu: An earthquake of magnitude 5.4 was reported near Katra in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday afternoon, according to India’s National Center for Seismology.

The epicentre of the earthquake was 84 km east-northeast (ENE) of Katra, Jammu and Kashmir, India, the agency said. The earthquake struck at 1:33 PM IST at a depth of 6 km from the surface.

The earthquake occurred at 1:33 pm today.
