- CRACKDOWN ON ANTI-NATIONALS se ओ
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha headed dispensation is taking outstanding steps and measures to streamline the functioning in the government departments and crack down on the government employees found to be indulged into anti-national activities and those issuing derogatory remarks on the social media platforms is one of the major reformation steps. Moreover, as a part of this exercise, dismissal of three government employees from the services for their terror links is indeed an appreciable and welcome step taken by the administration to give a clear cut message to such elements to either be committed to their respective organisations, government and the nation first or ready to face the action for mischievous and anti-national acts. Last year as well, the administration in a major crackdown on the terror ecosystem, terminated five government employees from service for terror links, running narco-terror syndicates and aiding proscribed outfits to carry out terror attacks under provision 311(2)(C) of the Constitution. It is good that the Jammu and Kashmir government is making efforts to detect and weed out terror elements within the system as several such terror elements were provided jobs through the backdoor during previous regimes. Reliably learnt that the administration has a list of around hundreds of such employees who pose threat to law and order and security and integrity of the Jammu and Kashmir and after completing all legal formalities, actions shall be initiated in a phased manner. The Government has a section of its employees who are proactively promoting anti-India hatred, assailing New Delhi’s decision of August 5, trolling and threatening on social networking sites. Though gradually, the Government has now collected concrete evidence against such employees and soon a big chunk of government officers besides others will be terminated from their services, which will be a lauded initiative, should have been done much earlier. It is always better to be late than and this is exactly what is happening in case of the administration that the final bugle has already been blown against such elements who are a threat to the society and the nation under the guise of government representatives. The previous Governments often failed to dismiss these employees who publicly supported militant activities in the Valley or worked as militant-sympathizers but, kudos to LG Manoj Sinha headed administration for such bold, daring and much needed decision.
