A BIG LESSON
There is still time left for the rogue-state Pakistan to mend its ways as it has been experiencing the worst ever crisis by way of facing the terrorist attacks by the same people who were given logistics and training sometime back to spread terror in different countries especially India. It is pertinent to mention that in the latest terrorist attack at least four people including two policemen have been killed when a Pakistan Taliban suicide squad stormed an office of police chief in the port city of Karachi leading to fierce gun fight that raged for hours. Fourteen others have been wounded in the suicide attack as three militants blew themselves. The reaction of Pakistani leadership over this attack is not at all surprising although its stand on terrorism is a bit peculiar because the entire world knows that presently this country is the hub of terror acts and wherever in the world a terrorist activity occurs, the cops’ first suspicion goes towards the people of Pakistan as in the past so many cases, the links of Pakistani people have emerged in the terror acts. Without any surprise, the Pakistani Premier Shehbaz Sharif has now vowed to end the vicious cycle of the violence from the country as he tweeted that his nation will not only uproot terrorism, but will kill the terrorists by bringing them to justice. Such statements are the compulsions but what is important is the fact that Pakistan should stop abetting terrorism in any form and what it has been doing in India through the proxy war is also known to the entire world. Such incidents are testimony to the fact that a rogue nation has caused much damage by providing training to militants and by also offering logistics. This is really a big lesson for Pakistan to correct its course or else more of such attacks will shatter the dreams of this economically failed state where buying food grains has become out of reach of the people. The situation at the attack site is still unclear as reports have been claiming that there are more terror mongers in the police complex thus giving a tough time to Pakistani security forces. This is not the isolated case of terrorism because earlier also the scourge of terror had boomeranged on many occasions in that country and if things would not be rectified more such attacks are likely to disrupt peace in Pakistan.
