Former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has formed his party about a week back after parting ways with the Congress. He has formed three committees each for the formation of regional and district units for the Jammu and Kashmir province. After the formation of regional and panchayat committees, the concerned officials will be entrusted with the responsibility of setting up block and panchayat committees in their respective areas.

An 11-member committee constituted under the chairmanship of former Deputy Chief Minister Tarachand will prepare a report on the formation of regional and district units of Kathua, Samba and district Udhampur apart from Jammu urban and rural, while the committee constituted for Ramban, Doda, Kishtwar and Reasi will be headed by GM Saroori. are doing. The responsibility of Rajori, Poonch has been entrusted to a six-member committee headed by Ashok Sharma.

In the Kashmir Valley, a committee headed by former minister Taj Mohiuddin in Baramulla, Kupwara and Bandipore while a committee headed by Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed prepared its report on the formation of regional and district units in Anantnag, Kulgam, Pulwama and Shopian in South Kashmir, Ghulam Nabi Azad Will hand over The committee is being constituted for the districts of Srinagar, Budgam and Ganderbal.

He said that the presidents and other office bearers of regional and district committees would have to devote at least 20 days every month to the functioning of the party and strengthening the organization in their district and region. Apart from this, they should also have their own vehicle. Apart from this, he should be able to read, understand and forward different types of messages in Hindi, English and Urdu. Youth will get 50 percent participation in each unit and 20 percent women will be office bearers in each unit.
