Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Sports and Youth Affairs Anurag Thakur along with his family members prayed for the happiness and peace of the country along with his family by appearing at the feet of Mother Vaishno Devi late last night.
Earlier on Tuesday night around 10:00 pm, Union Minister Anurag Thakur along with his family members reached the base camp Katra, where he was received by BJP leader, district co-in-charge Rohit Dubey as well as Pawan Khajuria and other leaders. Without stopping in Katra, Union Minister Anurag Thakur, along with his family members and BJP leader Rohit Dubey, reached Ardhquanri area from Tarakote Marg and from there reached the building of mother Vaishno Devi in a battery car. At around 12:00 late in the night, Union Minister Anurag Thakur along with his family members and other BJP leaders prayed for the happiness and peace of the country including the family by attending the feet of Mother Vaishno Devi.
After coming to the base camp Katra late in the night, BJP leader and district co-in-charge Rohit Dubey stayed at the hotel and after having breakfast in the morning, Union Minister Anurag Thakur along with his family left for Jammu at around 8:00 am. During the same meeting, BJP leader district co-in-charge Rohit Dubey spoke with Anurag Thakur about the current political situation and explained in detail about the campaign being run to strengthen the BJP in district Reasi. BJP leader Rohit Dubey welcomed Union Minister Anurag Thakur and his family members wearing mother’s chunari.
