TURNING POINT
There is no doubt that India’s journey to achieve freedom was daring and full of obstacles but at no point of time those who participated in the freedom struggle showed inconsistency or trepidation while standing against the tyrant British empire. This courageous feeling which the countrymen possessed at that time is inherited from the glorious past of the country and till date the people of this great sub-continent are the same with capabilities which are matchless and helped the Indian society to progress by leaps and bounds. In the last 75 years of independent India’s history much has been achieved but there was still much gap between what could have been achieved and what was achieved as historically the political class showed some sort phlegmatic attitude and corruption was also one of the main reasons snarling the development process. Although what has been achieved till date is not that bad but much more could have been attained if the dispensations in the past tried to be more sincere and country oriented. It was in 2014 that renaissance period started in the country with Narendra Modi becoming the Prime Minister of the country with a pledge to steer the nation to new heights of development and prosperity. What was promised was achieved with the lightning speed and the voyage is still on as PM Modi is fulfilling dreams of people on regular basis with day in day out progress of the country. The last over eight years of the Modi Government had brought in colossal changes in the way country progressed and joined the club of many super powers of the world. Starting from Kashmir which was the boiling point at the time PM Modi took over the reins of the country. Soon after settling as one of the strongest PM India ever had, Modi with his concerted efforts and strong resolve abrogated Article 370 and Article 35A, which no one in the country had ever thought to accomplish. It was this move which changed gthe entire scenario in the Valley and today the terrorism is on last leg and Valley is booming with tourism, peace and progress. On the defence side, PM Modi’s aggressive posture with surgical strikes, Balakot attack and bolstering the defence line by acquiring latest and technologically most advanced equipment and raised India’s standing in the sub continent to a level that no country in the region now has the guts to go against the country. The way the PM Modi has bailed out people from the suffering during the COVID Pandemic times is also a great achievement of this Yug Purush as India today is again moving apace on path of development when many developed nations are limping back to normal after snarl in the economy due to contagion corona.
