HUMANITY AT ITS BEST
The Border Security Force (BSF), which is one of the most disciplined security forces of the country and is solely responsible for guarding borders especially during the peacetime along the International Border has once again proved that despite being the valiant and gallant force which can destroy enemy’s nefarious designs in one go, it has personnel with golden hearts who can do anything and everything for humanity even if the cause is for the enemy nation. The exceptional gesture of BSF showing its humanitarian values when a three-year-old Pakistani boy, who inadvertently reached the International Border (IB) in Punjab was handed over to his family by the personnel of this dauntless security force of India. It is pertinent to mention that the incident is of Ferozepur sector in Punjab where the Border Security Force troops noticed a child who stood crying near the IB fence. The child kept crying looking for his father following which the BSF Field Commander sought an immediate flag meeting with the Pakistani Rangers so that he could be handed back. Subsequently, the child was shortly handed over to the Rangers in the presence of his father making it amply clear that the security force which is resolute in its endeavours to guard the borders is side by side ‘soft like wax’ as the humanitarian gesture at Ferozepur Sector has proved it beyond any doubt. This kind of character is only found in India because it has a rich cultural background which forms the basis of traits of the security forces of the country whether these army, BSF or other CAPFs. Surely the BSF has set an example to take cue from and it is necessary for the Pakistani Rangers as well to learn from the action of this border guarding force of India as their record is tainted in such matters. Although, the rogue nation Pakistan can stoop very low in such matters and one could not rule out the possibility that the child could have been sent by the Pakistani Rangers to check the level of preparedness of Indian security forces but India being the great country has taken things as they are and shown the noble gesture, which is unquestionable showing the humanity of the country at international level.
