Peoples Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti was once again placed under house arrest by the administration at her house as a precautionary measure on Tuesday.
Mehbooba Mufti expressed her displeasure over this detention and said that today I wanted to go to Shopian to express my condolences to the Kashmir Hindu family which was attacked last week.
Mehbooba Mufti said that the Indian government is deliberately running a propaganda campaign to hold mainstream Kashmiris and Kashmiri Muslims responsible for the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus. The central government does not want that its propaganda should be exposed.
Mehbooba Mufti, who was going to Shopian to meet the Kashmiri Pandit family, belongs to Bal Krishna alias Sonu, who was injured in the terrorist attack. On April 4, at 7.45 pm, terrorists opened fire on Bal Krishna when he was standing outside his house in Chotigam Harmain area of Shopian. One after the other the terrorists fired three hurls at him and then fled from there.
