NATIONAL INTEGRATION

NATIONAL INTEGRATION

The internal/external security threats to our nation have increased to an alarming extent, in direct proportion to the tremendous all-round development under the pragmatic and dynamic leadership of Prime Minister of India Sh. Narender Modi-the world acknowledged leader. The threats may be due to the heart burning /jealousy arising out of our fast economic and social developments.
There are reasons to believe that some of the political parties and their leadership have become power addict and as such the de-addiction process is unbearable for them. The launch of minor/major operations by the law enforcing constitutional institutions to go deep into the causes behind the existing deep rooted corruption, poverty, hunger, injustice, corrupt practices, attempts to defame/destabilise India, and above all to find out/remove the mystery behind the continuous threatening tone and texture adopted by the ill- conceived and bed ridden enemy countries against India, is visibly not to the liking of evil forces in and out of India who remaining illusive have always wished and prayed for the welfare of those forces who are hell bent to derail the process of progress, development and peace in India. There are reasons to believe that some State governments seemingly undermine the internal security threats and continue to indulge in tackling such detrimental situations in a very casual way. The threats are on the rise in those States but the remedial steps taken are not so appreciable. The tone and texture in such eventualities need to be convergent towards national needs and aspirations.
However, the way and manner, in which our country a section of opposition leadership is moving further with divergent views on national/international issues simply to allure and appease a particular section of the public, for creating and ensuring their vote bank, needs a serious thinking. It appears that an unhealthy competition is going on among them to snatch power even at the cost of humbling the nation, creating a wedge among the sections of society, bringing discredit to the fairness of the constitutional institutions, putting hurdles in the defence plans and programs prepared and executed against the enemy country. Besides, lowering the image of India which has ever been traditionally a secular nation, misleading the public opinion, siding with and supporting the impracticable demands/movements by wrongly interpreting ‘the rights’ under democracy while shirking their responsibilities as an Indian, are unwelcome.
The situation has become serious. The crime rate in anti -national activities, drug/arms supply as well as other heinous crimes have reached to an alarming situation in the border States as well coastal cities/States. The worst of all is, visible lack of will- power, mostly, on narrow political grounds, by a few State Governments, to weed out, on their own, anti-national/anti-reformative foreign elements having criminal mindset.
A sort of misinformation/ resistance campaign, to the genuine remedial steps/ legal actions, taken by ‘the constitutionally created’ central law enforcing agencies against such elements, is also visible in the manner, method and means applied by some State governments. The more worrisome is the undesired and very harmful infiltration attempts, duly supported by our neighbouring enemy countries to push their professionally trained radicalised minds, to establish their sleeper cells-over ground/underground workers/sympathisers, and intentional support to help the infiltrators settle inside India in sensitive areas to tease, suppress and oppress the original inhabitants of the land to cause demographic/political changes here. It is strange but true that the governments in some states have a soft corner for them, perhaps with a temptation to exploit their stay in India as their vote bank. This has been causing a serious threat to the national integration.
