Jammu and Kashmir police on Saturday said four drug peddlers were arrested and chara and poppy straw recovered in south Kashmir, a police spokesman said.
He said two drug peddlers were arrested and recovered poppy straw in Pampore in south Kashmir district of Pulwama.
He said in another raid police arrested two more drug peddlers and recovered 1.5 kg of Charas like substance and cash Rs 7750 also vehicle used in commission of crime seized in Kulgam.
Case FIR No.03/2021 U/S 8/20NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Damhal Hanjipora and further investigation taken up, he said.
