Two OGWs of Al Badr arrested, Rs 6 lac recovered in south Kashmir

Security forces arrested two Over Ground Workers (OGWs) of Al-Badr militant outfit and recovered cash Rs 6 lakh in south Kashmir district of Pulwama on Tuesday, official sources said this afternoon.

They said a joint party of security force and police intercepted a scooty at Awantipora in Pulwama. During the searches security forces recovered Rs 6 lakhs, they said.

Two OGWs arrested were identified as Raees Ahmad and Mushtaq Ahmad of Al-Badr, sources said adding the OGWs have confessed that they were on way to Khrew from Shopian to deliver the cash.

Further questioning of both the OGWs was going on, they added.
