Ishfaq Jabbar express grief over demise of party veteran, meets family members of Taja Parveen

Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Senior Leader and former MLA Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar today visited the residence of former NC District President Women Wing Ganderbal Taja Parveen, who died here today morning in Benhama Ganderbal and expressed solidarity with the family members of the deceased.

Expressing sympathy with the bereaved family, Ishfaq Jabbar who is also the district President of NC prayed for peace to the departed soul and said the entire party stands in solidarity with the family of deceased in this hour of loss.

“Ishfaq stayed with the bereaved family, consoled it, expressed his solidarity and sympathy and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul,” a spokesman of the National Conference said.

Mr Jabbar said Taja Parveen held the banner of the party in the most trying times and made enormous efforts towards making the party stronger at grassroots level in Ganderbal. He highlighted the contributions of Taja Ji for strengthening the National Conference and her attempt to uplift of the people particularly belonging to poorer sections of the society. “In the demise of Taja Parveen, people have lost a great friend but the National Conference has been deprived of a stalwart and senior leader,” Ishfaq said.

Mr. Ishfaq Ahmad was accompanied by various functionaries of the party’s parent and youth wing.
