Congress headquarters on Moulana Azad road in Srinagar remained closed for the second day on Friday due to worsening COVID-19 situation in the Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir.
Chief spokesman of the J&K Congress Ravinder Sharma had said both Srinagar and Jammu offices will remain closed for a week.
After several leaders and workers tested positive for COVID-19, BJP has closed Srinagar and Jammu party headquarters for ten days.
Sharma said all Congress colleagues and others are hereby informed that Congress headquarters in Jammu and Srinagar are hereby closed for all kinds of routine activities for a period of one week in view of worsening covid-19 situation.
The main gate of the headquarter remained closed and nobody was being allowed to enter the office.
