Members of J&K PSA organised a meeting

Taking serious cognizance and to clear the position of Private schools
functioning in Jammu and Kashmir regarding recent viral video in which a scuffle was seen between
parents and school management regarding the collection of fee.
President of the association Kamal Gupta said that we have apprehension that it may be some
manipulation to defame the name of private schools as area and name of school in which scuffle has done
is not disclosed. In case, if it has happened in any of the school we condemn such types of acts as
such types of acts can generate aloof between parents and the school managements. To come out of
scuffles he appealed to the Management of the Private Schools to issue proper receipt to the Parents
while collecting fee to avoid all types of exploitations adhering to the circular no. 1 Edu. Of 2020
dated 14/05/20.
Members of J&K PSA also managed a meeting in Poonch to aware the public regarding the Advisory issued
by The Director School Education Jammu, Anuradha Gupta for Private Schools & parents.President Raja
Shahzad Tantary organized this meeting along with Gurbax Singh, Fr. Mathew Nalledath, Sanjeev Sharma,
Shahzad Anwari, Mashooq Khan in Poonch to defend the school managements from the charges levelled
against them in news paper that all private schools in Poonch are taking admission fee as well as all
other fee like tuition fee etc and are not adhering to the circular no. 1 Edu. Of 2020 dated 14/05/20.
General Secretary of the J & K private schools Association, Ajay Gupta said that chaos and frustration
has gripped in the most of the schools due to non availability of sufficient funds in the wake of
COVID-19. He appealed to the government to immediate release of the fund according to the details
submitted by the Chief Account Officer, Director School Education, Jammu vide letter no.
DSEJ/Acctts/13336 dated 20-06-2020 to Director Finance, School Education Department, Srinagar to bring
who are solely dependent on this venture out of financial deficit and frustration.
