A short notice meeting of Executive members of central body of JKPSA was convened
by its General Secretary after the announcement of unlock-2 under the chairmanship of Kamal Gupta.
In a small reshuffle in district Jammu, incumbent President of Jammu district (urban) Sanjeev Luthra
has been elevated and inducted into the central body of JKPSA as treasurer whereas Deepak Handa and Lal
Chand Gandotra after general consensus of the house were unanimously nominated as Presidents Jammu
district urban and rural respectively.
Similarly Private schools of Nowshera (Rajouri) elected Sudesh Kumar Sharma as President ,Ritish
Choudhary as Vice President ,Sunil Choudhary , Girdhari Lal Sharma, Nitish Sharma as Secretaries’ in
addition to Sachin Kohli as General Secretary,Jenab Haq Nawaz as legal advisor along with Vaneet Gupta
as cashier . A strategy was also
chalked out by the members to overcome the crisis erupted due to lockdown for those who are solely
dependent on Private schools having low budget. General Secretary of the Association, Ajay Gupta
highlighted the serious concern over the circular no. F(Gen-An-Insp.)B/JD dated 05-06-2020 which was
issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education regarding annual inspection for determination
of infrastructure and academic viability for the Private schools of Jammu Division which were granted
extension in affiliation/ recognition up to November 2021 for W/Z and up to March 2021 for S/Z.
President of the Association, Kamal Gupta demanded immediate reconsideration and withdrawal of circular
issued by the JKBOSE for the annual inspection of Private schools of Jammu division in this turmoil of
COVID-19 as all schools have granted affiliation/ recognition by the Board affiliation committee after
scrutinizing all the relevant documents. He also appealed to the newly elected members’ to participate
actively for strengthening association for the larger interest of the society.
Executive members of central body including Rameshwar Mengi (Vice President), Ajay Singh, Gansara
Singh, Ram Parkash felicitated the newly elected members.
