Amid the Lock Down in India to fight the COVID-19, On the request of Rajinder Sikka of ward no. 02, Today Adv. Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor JMC on humanitarian basis distributed essential food supplies including rice bags, flour bags and other essential food items among the needy families of ward no. 02.
Adv. Purnima Sharma distributed essential food supplies so that no needy person has to suffer during this lockdown as the daily wagerers, labourers, auto drivers can’t earn a living amid the ongoing lockdown which is a preventive measure to stop the spread of Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).
Deputy Mayor ensured the public of ward no. 02 that such distribution of ration(food supplies) will be done to the locals and needy in the wards and further appealed to the locals to stay indoors and cooperate with the efforts of Government and Police that are trying their best to stop the further spread of this pandemic. The essential food items were distributed among the families of Ward no. 02 including the locals, weaker economic section, immigrants from various states.
