
REASI, APRIL 13: Under the visionary leadership of Khalil Choudhary, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Reasi (also Pr. District and Sessions Judge Reasi) and the able guidance of Pooja Gupta, Secretary, a cleanliness drives were carried out in different parts of the District.
The Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) of TLSC Mahore conducted a cleanliness drive at local Government Model Middle School, in collaboration with the front office of GDC Bagga.
The Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) of TLSC Katra also conducted a drive in the Town. During the programme, the importance of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in surroundings, schools and public places was highlighted.
The PLVs also spread awareness regarding the significance of community participation in keeping public places clean and green. Pamphlets were distributed and people were urged to actively contribute towards cleanliness drives and support government initiatives like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Another awareness programme- cum rally on the theme “Say No to Drugs” was organized at the Main Market Reasi by the Para Legal Volunteers of DLSA. The rally witnessed active participation from members of civil society. The participants carried placards and raised slogans highlighting the need for a drug-free society and urging the youth to stay away from narcotic substances.
