JAMMU, APRIL 13: A high-level review meeting was convened today in the Conference Hall of the Directorate of Horticulture Jammu to review the physical and financial achievements under major Government of India and Union Territory schemes.
Director Horticulture Jammu Gul Sayed chaired the meeting attended by Deputy Director Central, Chief Horticulture Officers (CHOs), Chief Canning Instructor Jammu, Accounts Officer, Assistant Director, Horticulture Information & Publicity Officer, In-charge Mega Fruit Plant Nursery Chakroi, Managers-cum-Chemists (MCCs), NRO and Farm Manager, ACHD Ramban.
The progress under CAPEX, HADP (Holistic Agriculture Development Programme), CSS (Centrally Sponsored Schemes), JKCIP (J&K Competitiveness Improvement Programme), NABARD, MIDH (Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture) and SASCI for the financial year 2025-26 was thoroughly reviewed. The meeting also discussed the finalization of the Annual Action Plan (AAP) under CAPEX and Centrally Sponsored Schemes for the financial year 2026-27.
The meeting deliberated upon a wide range of critical administrative, financial and operational matters pertaining to the Horticulture sector. The Director asked the field officers and CHOs to ensure strict compliance with pending data submissions, portal up-dation and meeting scheme targets within the stipulated timelines. He emphasized that non-submission of pending reports and delays in achieving scheme targets would be viewed seriously.
