GANDOH, APRIL 09: Healthcare Services and counselling on nutrition and other aspects were today provided today across various health facilities of Medical Block Gandoh under the aegis of Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan (PMSMA).
The initiative aimed at providing comprehensive antenatal care services to pregnant women, ensuring early detection and management of high risk pregnancies and promoting safe motherhood practices.
Expecting mothers were provided with detailed health check-ups, blood pressure monitoring, haemoglobin testing and necessary laboratory investigations.
The Medical officers and healthcare staff also offered counselling on nutrition, institutional delivery, birth preparedness and awareness regarding danger signs during pregnancy.
Free medicines and supplements were also distributed as per guidelines.
The PMSMA activities witnessed active participation from medical and paramedical staff across the block, reaffirming the commitment of the Health Department towards strengthening maternal healthcare services and ensuring safe pregnancy outcomes.
