
KULGAM, MARCH 31: To ensure the smooth and effective conduct of the Mission Gyan Bharatam Survey in the district, a training session was held today at Kulgam under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Shahzad Alam.
The programme was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kulgam, Altaf Ahmad Khan, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kulgam, Block Development Officers (BDOs), Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs), Executive Officers of Municipal Committees of Kulgam, Frisal, Yaripora and Devsar, VLWs, GRSs and other concerned officials.
The training session was conducted by Dr. Jahangir Iqbal, HoD Persian, University of Kashmir and Coordinator J&K for Mission Gyan Bharatam, who delivered a detailed presentation on the objectives, scope, methodology and field-level execution of the survey.
During the session, participants were sensitized about the survey protocol, household coverage, data collection mechanism and the importance of maintaining accuracy and transparency during the conduct of the survey.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner stressed upon all officers and field functionaries to carry out the survey with dedication, sincerity and responsibility. He directed the concerned teams to strictly follow the prescribed guidelines and ensure that every household is covered without any omission.
He also emphasized the need for close coordination among departments and field-level staff to ensure the successful and time-bound completion of the survey across the district.
