DODA, MARCH 28: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Doda Krishan Lal today chaired a meeting of the Rent Assessment Committee at the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex, to review and finalize rent cases of the government and private buildings hired for official use.
A total of 26 cases across 12 departments were discussed in the meeting. As many as 4 cases were deferred and 22 were approved by the committee. The committee examined the proposals in light of prevailing market rates, location advantages and the structural condition of the buildings.
The DDC stressed the importance of transparency, fairness and strict adherence to established norms while determining rent, ensuring optimal and judicious utilization of public funds.
