DODA, MARCH 24: Under the guidance of CMO Doda, Dr. Tanveer Ahmed Rather and District Tuberculosis Officer Doda/Kishtwar, Dr. Raj Kumar Sharma, the World Tuberculosis Day was observed today across all medical blocks of District Doda.
Under the supervision of respective BMOs, a series of awareness sessions were organized at various health facilities. Health staff conducted interactive sessions with the general public to generate awareness about tuberculosis (TB), its symptoms, prevention and the importance of early diagnosis and complete treatment.
The programme aimed to sensitize the community about TB elimination and encourage people to seek timely medical care, thereby contributing towards a TB-free society.
