REASI, MARCH 23: The three-day census training programme for Phase 1 under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner Reasi (Principal Census Officer) concluded successfully today in Reasi district.
The training sessions aimed to prepare Charge Officers — Tehsildars, Executive Officers and Census Clerks — for the first phase of the Census, namely Houselisting Operations, scheduled for June 2027.
The training was led by senior officers from the Census Directorate: Deputy Director Manmeet Singh, Assistant Director Sunil Kumar and Senior Investigators Divendu Pratap Singh and Rahul, supported by other officials.
Participants received detailed guidance on training enumerators and supervisors, creating and managing Houselisting Blocks on the CMMS Portal and preparing Village and Town Directories.
The three day training programme was attended by Rakesh Kumar ADC Reasi ( District Nodal Officer for Census 2027 ), Ashok Kumar, District Statistical & Evaluation Officer ( Additional District Census Officer) along with SDMs, District Informatics Officer and Tehsildars/EOs from across the district.
