BHADERWAH, MARCH 19: In view of the upcoming festival of Eid-ul-Fitr, a market checking drive was conducted across the entire Bhaderwah town under the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah Sunil Bhutyal. The drive was carried out in the presence of the Naib Tehsildar, Tehsil Supply Officer (TSO), a team of Veterinary Doctors and representatives from the Municipal Committee.

During the inspection, various shops and business establishments were checked to ensure the availability of essential commodities and to prevent overpricing and black marketing. Shopkeepers were directed to display rate lists clearly and follow government-approved prices.

The Veterinary team inspected meat and poultry shops to ensure that only fresh and hygienic products are being sold. The Municipal team also checked cleanliness and sanitation in the market areas to maintain a healthy environment for the public. Instructions were issued to maintain proper hygiene, avoid plastic waste and keep surroundings clean.

The drive aimed to protect consumer interests and ensure a smooth and safe shopping experience for the people. The administration has appealed to all traders to cooperate and maintain fairness so that the festival is celebrated in a safe and positive manner. Strict action will be taken against those found violating the rules.
