
UDHAMPUR, MARCH 18: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa today conducted an extensive visit to inspect the ongoing construction work at the new Government Medical College at Bailey Udhampur.
During the visit, the DC meticulously reviewed various components of the project, assessed the pace of progress and emphasized the need to address any bottlenecks affecting execution.
He urged the executing agency to adopt a double-shift work schedule with renewed enthusiasm and better coordination to ensure completion of the project within the stipulated time frame.
Executing agencies were directed to expedite the construction work, including the development and maintenance of approach roads and ensure timely completion as per the set timeline. Stressing the importance of efficient resource mobilization, the DC instructed all concerned agencies to work in a coordinated and result-oriented manner to achieve optimal outcomes.
The DC also directed the Principal GMC to maintain close coordination with the executing agency to further accelerate the pace of construction and ensure smooth progress of the project.
