
BANDIPORA, MARCH 08: The first two phases of the training programme for Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) were successfully conducted at District Treasury Office Bandipora as part of the phase-wise training being organised across the Union Territory.
Under the guidance of DTO Bandipora, Sheikh Aabid, the training programme aimed to sensitise and equip DDOs with the required knowledge of financial rules, procedures governing public expenditure and the operational use of the Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS) modules, particularly SNA-SPARSH and Pension Suvidha portals, to ensure efficient discharge of their financial and administrative responsibilities.
During the sessions, participants were briefed about the relevant procedures, guidelines and operational aspects related to treasury operations and financial management systems.
The programme was organised in line with the directions of the Finance Department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, and forms part of the phased training initiative scheduled to be conducted during the months of March and April 2026 to ensure comprehensive coverage of all DDOs.
