BHADERWAH, MARCH 07: A market checking, decongestion and anti-encroachment drive was conducted in Bhaderwah town under the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah, Sunil Kumar Bhutyal.
During the drive, Tehsildar Kamalpreet Singh, Naib Tehsildar Parampreet, Food Safety Officer along with the Mobile Food Testing Van (MFTV) team, Police, Municipality, Traffic Police and officials of the Veterinary Department inspected various market areas of the town.
The team checked food quality, shop establishments and ensured that shopkeepers follow hygiene and safety standards. Several shopkeepers and individuals violating the rules were issued online as well as offline challans and fines were imposed accordingly.
The drive also focused on removing encroachments from roads and market spaces to reduce congestion and ensure smooth movement of pedestrians and vehicles.
The officials said that such drives will continue to maintain cleanliness, regulate market activities and ensure public safety in the town.
