DC, SSP Poonch extend Holi greetings to people Participate in Shobha Yatra at Sanatan Dharam Sabha

POONCH, MARCH 04: Deputy Commissioner, Ashok Kumar Sharma along with Senior Superintendent of Police, Shafket Hussain Bhat on Wednesday visited Sanatan Dharam Sabha and extended Holi greetings to the people and members of the Management Committee.

The Deputy Commissioner and SSP were accorded a warm welcome by the Management Committee of Sanatan Dharam Sabha. Interacting with the members and the gathering, the officers conveyed their heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the district, emphasizing the spirit of unity, brotherhood and communal harmony that the festival symbolizes.

Among others present on the occasion were Additional Deputy commissioner, Tahir Mustafa Malik; Additional Superintendent of Police, Mohan Lal; Tehsildar Haveli, Azhar Majid; DySP Headquarters, Neeraj Sharma; Tehsildar Headquarters, Pallvi Verma and other senior officers from the District Administration and Police Department.

The officers also participated in a grand Shobha Yatra that commenced from Geeta Bhawan Mandir. A large number of devotees and residents took part in the procession, which passed through different parts of the city amid vibrant celebrations marked by colors, music and festivity.
