UDHAMPUR, MARCH 02: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Minga Sherpa, today convened a comprehensive review meeting of officers and field functionaries of Rural Development Department (RDD) to assess the physical and financial progress under the different schemes being implemented in the district.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Jugal Kishore; Probationer Seerat Baji; Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Ashwani Hansa; all Block Development Officers and other concerned officials.
At the outset, ACD Om Parkash delivered a detailed PowerPoint presentation outlining the scheme-wise and block-wise progress under different RDD initiatives.
The DC conducted an in-depth review of the physical and financial achievements under the ADP, status of new and ongoing works under the UT Sector, constituency-wise progress under CDF and payment mechanisms being followed. He also examined the category-wise issuance of job cards under MGNREGA, block-wise implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin, progress under Swachh Bharat Mission and the status of the construction of compost pits, soak pits, DEWATS, FSTPs and Gobardhan projects.
The DC also reviewed the block-wise status of Panchayat Ghars and the construction of new Panchayat Ghars under the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan. He exhorted officers to maintain transparency and accountability in all works undertaken by the RDD in the district.
