DODA, FEBRUARY 23: District administration Doda on Monday accorded a warm and heartfelt farewell to outgoing Deputy Commissioner (DC), Harvinder Singh. Singh has been transferred and appointed as Director Employment Jammu and Kashmir.
The event witnessed the presence of DDC Chairperson Dhananter Singh, Vice Chairperson Sangeeta Bhagat, DDC members, senior officers from the line departments, representatives from the civil society, senior citizens and staff members.
Speakers highlighted the developmental initiatives undertaken under the guidance of Harvinder Singh, particularly in infrastructure development, strengthening of public service delivery, promotion of tourism and effective implementation of government schemes at the grassroots level.
Harvinder Singh expressed his sincere thanks to the officers, employees and the people of Doda for their cooperation and unwavering support. He stated that the collective efforts of the administration and the public played a crucial role in achieving developmental milestones and strengthening governance in the district.
