JAMMU, FEBRUARY 14: The closing ceremony of the “Basic Disaster Management” training course for police personnel from different districts of Jammu zone was held at CTI Kot-Bhalwal. The course commenced on January 5, 2026.
The training aimed to impart knowledge and skills to trainees to prevent collateral damage during disasters.
The Commandant SDRF 2nd Battalion Jammu attended the occasion as the chief guest. He addressed the trainees, urging them to act as first responders and distributed certificates among them.
Deputy Superintendents of Police Manzoor Hussain, Dinesh Gupta, Lalit Kumar and Rohit Dev Singh were also present on the occasion. The ceremony concluded with the acknowledgment of the successful completion of the training programme.
