JAMMU, FEBRUARY 05: Director Agriculture Jammu, Anil Gupta, today reviewed the functioning, attendance, cleanliness and operational efficiency of different sections and offices functioning under the Directorate of Agriculture at Krishi Bhawan.
The Director inspected Establishment section, Development, Plant Protection Officer, Planning, Accounts, Assistant Director Law Enforcement, CSS, PMFBY, HADP, Information, Agriculture Chemist, office of Potato Development Officer, ASCO (I&P), Pesticide Laboratory, Fertilizer Laboratory, Soil Testing Laboratory and other premises of the Directorate.
While interacting with officers and staff, Anil Gupta emphasized the importance of discipline, accountability and efficiency in departmental functioning. He issued a string of directions to strengthen administrative and technical performance.
Reviewing attendance and punctuality, the Director Agriculture directed all sections to ensure strict adherence to office timings. All sections were directed to maintain proper cleanliness in their respective offices. The Estate Officer was specifically directed to ensure overall cleanliness of the Directorate premises and to undertake necessary repair and maintenance works.
Taking stock of lab operations, the Director Agriculture directed the Pesticide, Fertilizer and Soil Testing Laboratories to achieve their assigned targets within the stipulated timeframe and maintain high standards of technical efficiency.
