SHOPIAN, JANUARY 31: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Shopian today organized Special Lok-Adalat on Criminal Compoundable Cases at District Court Complex Shopian.
The Lok-Adalat was held under the directions of I/C Chairman DLSA Shopian, Rayaz Ahmad Chowdhary and under the guidance of Secretary DLSA Shopian, Mudasar Farooq.
In the Lok Adalat two benches were constituted by the DLSA. The first bench was presided over by Rayaz Ahmad Chowdhary, Chief Judicial Magistrate Shopian and Adv.Iftikhar Ahmad. The second bench was presided over by Rameen Rashid Khan , Addl. Spl. Mobile Magistrate Shopian and Adv. Gulzar Ahmad Najar.
A total number of 100 cases were taken up for amicable settlement, wherein 90 cases successfully resolved with a settlement amount Rs14,500.
