JAMMU, JANUARY 30: The Directorate of Agriculture Jammu today observed two minutes silence on Martyrs Day to pay solemn homage to the brave sons of the soil who sacrificed their lives during the struggle for India’s freedom.
In compliance with the directions issued by the General Administration Department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, the observance was held at 11:00 a.m. at the Directorate of Agriculture, Krishi Bhawan, Talab Tillo, Jammu.
The silence was observed in remembrance of the martyrs whose supreme sacrifice continues to inspire generations and strengthen the nation’s commitment to unity, integrity and democratic values.
The observance was led by Joint Director Agriculture (Extension), Jammu, Sanjay Anand and attended by sectoral heads, senior officers and staff of the Directorate of Agriculture Jammu, who stood in reverence to honour the martyrs.
