
KISHTWAR, JANUARY 29: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Pankaj Kumar Sharma, today chaired a high-level meeting to review the preparedness for the launch of Sampoornata Abhiyaan 2.0 in the Aspirational Block Marwah, scheduled on February 2, 2026.
The nationwide Sampoornata Abhiyaan 2.0 aims at achieving saturation of all six key performance indicators across priority sectors and bringing about a transformative change in the lives of the people of the block.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized coordinated efforts among all line departments to ensure the successful launch and effective implementation of the programme within the stipulated three-month timeframe. He directed Health, Education, Animal Husbandry, Agriculture and other stakeholder departments to work in mission mode to achieve the assigned targets.
Block Development Officer Marwah was asked to convene “Gram Sabhas” for passing resolutions for the saturation of the six key performance indicators in the Health and Nutrition Sector- supplementary nutrition coverage for children aged 6 months to 6 years; measurement of nutritional efficiency of children enrolled at Anganwadi Centres (AWCs); provisioning of functional toilets and drinking water facilities in the AWCs.
For the Education Sector, emphasis was laid on improving the percentage of schools with functional toilets for girls, while in the Agriculture and Allied Sector, focus was placed on achieving full coverage of bovine animal vaccination as per indicators notified under the Abhiyaan.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned HODs of the line departments to organize health camps, screening programmes, nutrition- and education-related activities as per the guidelines shared by NITI Aayog to ensure comprehensive outreach and impact.
The meeting concluded with a resolve to make Sampoornata Abhiyaan 2.0 a grand success through collective efforts, ensuring inclusive development and improved service delivery in the Aspirational Block Marwah.
