BHADERWAH, JANUARY 20: Social Welfare Department (SWD) on Tuesday organised an awareness-cum-interactive Camp for Senior Citizens at Bhaderwah.
The camp focused on disseminating comprehensive information about the welfare schemes meant for the senior citizens.
Participants were sensitised to the eligibility criteria, benefits and application procedures for availing the schemes.
The interactive session allowed participants to raise queries which were actively addressed by the concerned officials on the spot.
Emphasis was laid on facilitating easy access to benefits and strengthening the support system for elderly citizens, in line with the government’s commitment to inclusive and citizen-centric governance.
The camp witnessed active participation from senior citizens of the area, reflecting the growing impact of awareness-driven outreach programmes in the region.
