KUPWARA, JANUARY 20: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Shrikant Suse, today chaired a review meeting to assess the progress of various revenue-related initiatives in the district including digitisation of land records, SWAMITVA scheme, and other allied issues.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Handwara, ACR Kupwara, SDM Lolab and Tehsildars.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner took a detailed review of the status of ongoing revenue construction works and emphasized the importance of timely execution of works. He laid special stress on the digitization of Jamabandies, directing the Tehsildars to take up the task in a mission mode and ensure its completion strictly within the prescribed timelines.
The Deputy Commissioner also reviewed progress under the Micro irrigation Census and SWAMITVA Scheme, updation of Jal Shakti assets and called for close monitoring, inter-departmental coordination, and regular reporting to address bottlenecks and improve efficiency in service delivery.
The Deputy Commissioner further directed Tehsildars to update the status of the digitization on daily basis.
