KUPWARA, JANUARY 19: In order to ensure seamless Republic Day celebrations, Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Shrikant Suse, chaired a comprehensive meeting today at DPL Kupwara with officers from all concerned departments.
Attendees included SSP Kupwara Syed Tahir Al Geelani, ADDC Kupwara, ADC Kupwara, SE R&B, CPO,CEO, DIO DIPR Kupwara, and senior officials from line departments.
Discussions covered critical areas such as security, parade coordination, seating, traffic management, sanitation, power supply, medical facilities, and logistics.
The DC underscored the need for robust inter-departmental coordination to complete all preparations in time. He directed departments to uphold discipline, punctuality, and readiness, emphasizing dedicated execution of duties for a safe, dignified event.
SSP Kupwara outlined security protocols, assuring full coordination with agencies for smooth proceedings.
Later, the DC along with SSP inspected the DPL ground, the main venue, to review on ground arrangements.
