Security forces have got important information in the case of killing three terrorists under Operation Mahadev in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. Security agencies have collected many evidences including documents issued by the Pakistan government and biometric data. This proves that all three terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack were Pakistanis. The senior security officer said that for the first time we have got documents issued by the Pakistani government. However, officials also said that the evidence collected has revealed that no local person was involved among these terrorists. Officials said that forensic, documentary and evidence collected during and after ‘Operation Mahadev’ shows that all three terrorists were Pakistanis.
Officials said that smart ID chips linked to NADRA, a micro SD recovered from the damaged satellite phone contained NADRA biometric records of all three terrorists.
Officials said wrappers of personal effects manufactured in Pakistan such as ‘Candyland’ and ‘Chocomax’ chocolates (both brands produced in Karachi) were found in the same rucksack. They further said that the lot numbers printed on the wrappers belonged to the consignment sent to Muzaffarabad, PoK in May 2024.
