Srinagar: Police has confiscated the property of the accused of providing shelter to terrorists in his house and helping them in terrorist activities in Sopore, North Kashmir. The confiscated property includes three kanals and three marlas of land and a house. Police spokesperson said that the confiscated property belongs to Javed Ahmed Dar and it is in Reban Ramhama Sopore. This house of Javed Ahmed Dar was being used as a safe haven by the terrorists of Lashkar and Hizbul Mujahideen.
Sitting in this house, the terrorists conspired and executed many incidents related to attacks on security forces and killings of civilians. Javed Dar used to help the terrorists in every way.
On the basis of helping the terrorists and his involvement in terrorist activities, cases of Prevention of Unlawful Activities Act and Armed Act were registered against him in Sopore Police Station last year.
During the investigation against him, many such evidences were found which confirm that he used to support the terrorists willingly. The spokesperson said that after completing all the necessary legal formalities, his property has been confiscated with the permission of the court.
Now this property cannot be bought or sold without the permission of the concerned administration and no changes can be made in its revenue records.
