Security Forces Launch Search Operation in Kathua After Sighting of Suspects

Kathua: A series of sightings of suspicious individuals has been reported in Kathua district, prompting security forces to launch a search operation in the area. Despite the efforts, no leads have been found. In Ramkot tehsil, security forces conducted a search operation in Talain Nala, Talain Bridge, and nearby areas after suspicious activities were reported.

A joint team of Ramkot police, Special Operation Group, CRPF, and Army personnel launched a search operation on Sunday morning. However, the security forces were unable to find any suspects. The operation was subsequently called off.

The Army had detained a person from Nagrota Gujjar in Ramkot on Saturday for questioning due to suspicious international call records. The individual was later handed over to Ramkot police for further interrogation.
