Bikaner, Rajasthan – May 22, 2025:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Bikaner, Rajasthan, where he offered prayers at the revered Karni Mata Temple and laid the foundation stones for several developmental projects. Addressing a large public gathering during his visit, PM Modi delivered a sharp message to Pakistan, reiterating India’s firm stance on terrorism and national security.
Referring to Operation Sindoor, a recent military initiative, PM Modi emphasized India’s growing defense capabilities and issued a stern warning to Pakistan, declaring that there will be “no trade, no talks” with the neighboring country unless it relates to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Key Highlights from PM Modi’s Address:
-
No Dialogue Without PoK on Agenda:
PM Modi asserted that diplomatic discussions with Pakistan will only take place if the topic is Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. “There will be neither trade nor talks with Pakistan. Talks, if any, will only be about PoK,” he said. -
Tough Message on Terrorism:
Warning Pakistan against continuing its support for terrorism, the Prime Minister said:-
“If Pakistan keeps exporting terrorists, it will have to beg for every penny.”
-
“Pakistan will not get a single drop of water that rightfully belongs to India.”
-
“Playing with the blood of Indians will now cost Pakistan dearly.”
-
“India has made it clear – for every terrorist attack, Pakistan will pay a heavy price, including its army and its economy.”
-
-
Firm Nationalist Stand:
Modi invoked national pride, stating, “Pakistan forgot one thing — Modi, the servant of Mother India, now stands tall.” He added, “My mind is cool, but my blood is hot. Now, what flows in my veins is not blood, but burning vermilion.”
India’s New Three-Point Approach Against Terrorism:
-
Swift and Decisive Response:
Any terrorist attack on Indian soil will be met with a proportional and timely military response. “Our forces will choose the time, method, and conditions of retaliation,” Modi affirmed. -
No Fear of Nuclear Threats:
India will not be intimidated by nuclear threats and remains resolute in safeguarding its sovereignty. -
Unified View on Terrorism:
The Prime Minister declared that India would no longer differentiate between state and non-state actors supporting terrorism in Pakistan. “Those who harbor terrorists and those who execute terrorism will be treated as one.”
PM Modi’s remarks come amid heightened tensions in the region and underline a hardline stance on national security as India prepares for its next phase of geopolitical engagement.
Mention of the Air Strike
After the air strike, when I came to Churu, I had said, “I swear by this soil — I will not let this nation perish, I will not let this nation bow down.”
Today, from the land of Rajasthan, I wish to humbly say to my fellow countrymen — those who set out to erase the sindoor (symbol of dignity and pride) have themselves been reduced to dust.
Those who once shed the blood of Indians — we have held them accountable for every drop.
Those who assumed India would remain silent are now hiding in their homes.
Those who were once arrogant about their weapons now lie buried beneath the rubble.
It is a remarkable coincidence that five years ago, after the Balakot air strike, my first public rally was held on the border of Rajasthan.
And now, after Operation Sindoor, my first rally is once again taking place here — among you all, on the valiant soil of Bikaner in Rajasthan.
