Indian Army held a press conference for the second consecutive day on Monday on Operation Sindoor against Pakistan. DGMO Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai from Army, Vice Admiral AN Pramod from Navy and Air Marshal Avdhesh Kumar Bharti from Air Force again gave information on ‘Operation Sindoor’ for 32 minutes.

Air Marshal Bharti said, ‘Bhay bin hoy na preet. Our fight is with terrorists. Our fight is not with Pakistani military. Pakistan army supported the terrorists, so we responded to it. They themselves are responsible for the loss of their army.’ There was a ceasefire between India and Pakistan at 5 pm on May 10.

Yesterday we gave a detailed briefing of the joint operation of ‘Operation Sindoor’. We had said that our fight is with the terrorists. Our fight is not with Pakistani military. Pakistan army interfered, we responded to it.

Our fight was against terrorism and terrorists, on 7 May we only attacked terrorists. The Pakistani army supported the terrorists and we had to respond. The Pakistani army is responsible for the damage they suffered.

The attack by Pakistan included missiles of Chinese origin, these included long range rockets, UAVs, some copters and drones of Chinese origin. These were shot down by our air defense system.

We kept civilian and military infrastructure at minimum target, while the Pakistani army was continuously attacking everywhere. You know that we have a variety of air defense systems. This includes low level firing, surface to air missiles, long and short range missiles. We have been attacked by drones and UAVs.

During the Pakistani attack, all our systems were activated simultaneously, this was important in terms of modern day war fighting. The air defense system, which was considered old, also worked properly. The attacks were also responded to with the Akash system.

Yesterday we shared the details of some targets with you. The pictures we are showing show that we shot down enemy drones, fighter aircraft and missiles. There was minimal damage on our side.
