The Modi government has decided to conduct caste census in the country. The Modi cabinet has taken this decision on Wednesday. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has said that castes will be counted in the census (Caste Census In India).
A cabinet meeting was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav accused the opposition that the Congress has always used castes for vote bank.
What is caste census?
Actually, caste census means that when the census is done in the country, during this time people should also be asked about their caste. Simply put, counting people on the basis of caste is caste census. Talking about the state, caste census has been conducted in Bihar.
