‘Find and send back Pakistanis’, Amit Shah in action after Pahalgam attack; gave instructions to all CMs

Jammu: The central government is in action mode after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. First, PM Modi held an emergency meeting and decided to cancel the visas of Pakistani citizens.

No Pakistani citizen should stay in India

Now Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to all the Chief Ministers and asked them to ensure that no Pakistani stays in India after the deadline to leave the country expires.

In fact, Shah spoke to all the Chief Ministers today and asked them to search in their respective states and send all Pakistani citizens back to Pakistan from India. The Home Minister issued these instructions after a long meeting with officials.

Shah has also asked the Chief Ministers to take steps to ensure the immediate return of people to Pakistan. Meanwhile, the Union Home Minister will also hold a meeting on the Indus Water Treaty at his residence.

Apart from Home Minister and Union Water Power Minister CR Patil, other senior government officials will attend this meeting. Sources told ANI that India has formally informed Pakistan in writing about suspending the Indus Water Treaty. Jal Shakti Ministry Secretary Devshree Mukherjee has informed Pakistan Water Resources Ministry Secretary Syed Ali Murtaza about the Indian government’s decision through a letter.
