Billawar, April 01: MLA Billawar Satish Sharma visited Panjtirthi to boost the morale of security forces engaged in maintaining peace in the region. During his visit, MLA Sharma met with DGP Nalin Prabhat to discuss the ongoing security operations.
MLA Sharma expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards the Indian Army, CRPF, and local police forces for their unwavering dedication and bravery in restoring peace in the area. He commended their efforts and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting them in their mission to maintain law and order.

MLA Sharma also emphasized the need for strict action against Over Ground Workers (OGWs) and proposed the demolition of their residences using bulldozers to curb their activities. He assured the residents of Billawar that their safety remains a top priority.
During the meeting, DGP Nalin Prabhat reviewed the progress of the ongoing operation and reiterated that security forces will not relent until the last terrorist is neutralized. He urged the residents of the border areas to remain vigilant and immediately report any suspicious activities to the police to aid in the swift response of security agencies.
